Hi, I’m Isobel. I’ve always been a creative person. From music, to writing, to art, I sought out many ways to express myself over my whole life.

Though I’ve always loved drawing with pencils, I noticed that the art style that appealed to me couldn’t be achieved with graphite pencils. I had to be brave and dare to try something new. I bought my first set of markers and immediately fell in love with the medium.

With the subtlety of brush strokes but the boldness of marker ink, I’m able to capture the soul of the character and turn the fictional person real—at least on paper.

Sometimes, I edit my drawings digitally, which results in a unique mixed-media finish, but I always fall back to start from paper, not quite ready to give it up.
